Linda Reihs, a retired Media Specialist and National Board Certified teacher, has taught language arts in elementary and middle schools. She has even created programs and presented them via live-interactive video conferencing. She has also published teacher’s editions for a renowned author and poet.
In addition, Linda Reihs is a Nationally Certified Master’s Addictions Counselor. She has worked with recovering adolescents and adults. Her work focuses on addiction awareness and Bibliotherapy, the use of literature with counseling techniques.
This is her first children’s book. The focus of this book is to create awareness for younger children about the dangers of taking drugs. Linda has been an educator for the past thirty-seven-years and plans to share her message with health professionals, clergy and educators. Other books will follow in the series, covering other important issues such as compulsive overeating, bullying and alcoholism.
